We, at The London Gaming Market, hugely value our customers and partners above all else. Your health and safety is our greatest concern, but we also recognise the desire to carry on with things that you enjoy.
After reviewing the government decision at yesterday’s COBRA meeting, which was based on expert medical and scientific advice, we have decided to go ahead with the London Gaming Market as planned this Sunday, and so give you, the customer, the power to decide whether you would like to attend or not.
We believe at present, given the very low numbers of confirmed cases in London and the relatively small size of the market, any risk to health is extremely minimal.
We do, however, respectfully request that anyone showing any symptoms of COVID-19 – no matter how minor – should not attend the market. In addition, if you are in a particular ‘at risk’ group, such as the elderly or if you have an underlying health condition already, then maybe you should also look to attend a future Market date.
For those who do choose to visit, we will have hand sanitizer gel stations around the venue. We also strongly recommend you wash your hands with soap and hot water before, during and after attending. For more advice and guidance you can log into the NHS website.
We hope to see many of you on Sunday and thank you for your support. Please be safe wherever you are!
